Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) training is a mandatory requirement for all those who currently hold or are applying for a liquor licence, as an approved licensee or seeking to be appointed as an approved manager. Venues must ensure every facet of their operation complies with liquor and related legislation and adheres to community standards. RMLV training assists managers by delivering a range of management techniques as well as legislative compliance. QHA is authorised by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) to deliver this training package. RMLV is only pertinent to Queensland and is not nationally recognised training.
The RMLV course is also delivered in a video conferencing format for those who are unable to attend QHA training venues around the State. Participants log in to the QHA virtual classroom via a PC, laptop, tablet or other device. A reliable internet connection and a webcam is required as is the capacity (microphone) to allow active participation in this live training environment, as it would for an attendance course.
