Cert III in Hospitality delivery time is 12 weeks plus work placement.

The Queensland Hotels Association (30826) and TAFE Gold Coast (RTO 0275 | CRICOS 03020E | IHE PRV13003) have come together to provide students the opportunity to equip themselves with the skills to become qualified staff.
This is a hands-on, entry-level program designed to jump-start a rewarding career in hospitality.
What you need to know
Duration: 12 weeks total, including an organised work placement (training + 36 shifts in service periods)
Classes: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am until 3.30pm at QHA House, Brisbane City
Partners & opportunities: Gain experience with top industry employers, including Amora Hotel, The Westin, The Port Office Hotel, Royal on the Park, and other respected properties
Outcomes: Real employment outcomes and pathways into hospitality roles upon completion
Eligibility & delivery: Designed for individuals seeking a clear entry point into the sector; content blends foundational skills with on-the-job learning
Certification: Upon successful completion, you’ll earn SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality (Front of House focus) including extra modules SITHFAB021 (RSA), SITHGAM022 (RSG), and SITXFSA0006.
