In Queensland, all persons who serve and supply liquor are required to have this certification, apart from a few community based exemptions. The responsibility for ensuring employees working at licensed venues have RSA certification, within one month of starting work, lies with the licensee.  A Statement of Attainment is issued upon successful completion. This competency is recognised in some other Australian jurisdictions. Note: If you hold a current RMLV certificate you are not required to also hold RSA certification.
